Student Ministry
Memorial Lutheran Church and Student Center exists for students like you. We are located right across the street from the Memorial Union on the campus of Iowa State University, intentionally placed so we can be a campus ministry to students where they are. At Memorial you can find students like you who are asking many of the same questions and going through many of the same changes that you are. But Memorial is also a congregation with grandpas and grandmas, kids and teenagers, young and old people who can help make it feel like your home congregation. Memorial is connected to LCMSU, LCMA, and Lutheran Student Fellowship.

Bible Studies
During the semester, join students for contemporary hymns, devotions, and reflection during our Student Fellowship at 8:30 PM on Wednesdays, and snacks are provided.
There are also Men/Women Bible studies as well as various Bible study groups with Internationals. Check our calendar or contact the church office for more information.
Leadership Opportunities
Student leaders help in a variety of ways with our work with college students. They lead the Student Fellowship time, plan social activities and service projects, and more.
Student leaders are hired on a semester basis. If you’re interested, contact one of our pastors to begin discerning application.

Memorial has connections with Beta Sigma Psi, a Lutheran Fraternity. Apply for scholarships for incoming freshmen here.
